Our customer Deutsche Telekom would like to know if map services (e.g. google maps) can be used in their Cloud of Things and then feed them with the device data (location).
Managed Services (and the customer too) is aware that this will be treated as feature/enhancement request, but we'll appreciate if you can provide us an estimate on how this feature request is being ranked (other customers must've requested this feature as well) and what Product Management plans for its realization are.
Thanks for sharing the feedback.
Just for clarification. Does DT want to use Google Maps instead of Open Street Maps? Adding Google Maps as a second Maps provider which could be configured for each tenant is definitely a valuable improvement for the product but not currently planned.
This could be a potential co-innovation project with DT. Aaron Kreis is in alignment of co-innovation projects with DT and I will ask him to also initiate the discussion around this one.
