I get all kinds of report requests. Having smart groups automatically sort devices based on certain properties and then having those available in Cockpit will enable automating creating reports on a scheduled basis. For example, my users want to know weekly how many devices in Europe are connecting to the platform. I haven't found a way to get that data in Cumulocity; it's a report in Axeda that we did pretty easily.
