Please add warnings when deleting objects with dependent linked objects. Preferably, we would also have an option for cascade deletion. Example: deleting device protocol affects child devices that reference it.

This is something we would like to implement, however there are some caveats to it. A) this would need to be implemented for each protocol separately and b) we are currently lacking the concept of managing the relationships between all the objects and c) it would require multiple teams to align and work together which is why implementing this would pose major effort.
