I am assuming that you are suggesting this so that the data points defined without measurements can be used in creation of dashboards. At the moment, we are exploring a similar approach in Asset Type Dashboards-Digital Twin Manager.
We will have the ability to provide feedback on the feasibility of this idea shortly, and I will keep you updated on any developments.
