Option to cancel Pending operations in bulk from Device Control Screen

Currently pending operations queued for devices can only be cancelled one at a time, which becomes quite tedious if there is huge set of wrong pending operations that is queued and needs cancellation.

User can possibly set wrong operations for a device/set of devices and it might prevent the devices from getting right operation until the pending wrong ones is either cancelled or it gets process and failed. It could have a large impact when huge list of devices are queued with wrong operations and there is no option to reverse the action or cancel all at once.

Hence we suggest to have a selective checkbox option to be implemented where user can select the operations (some or all) that needs to be cancelled and cancel them at once instead of going one by one.

    Hi Mohammed,

we agree that it can be quite tedious to clean up pending operations but as we have already mentioned in our discussion a while ago, solving this causes some issues as there is not sufficient transparency to which degree these operations have already been processed/delivered to the device. This could result in unexpected/unwanted behavior. Additionally, the button that once was available can’t handle high numbers of operations to be canceled at once and would need to be reimplemented, which is why we decided to not implement this. For cleaning up tenants (in a dev environment) you could also use for example the go-c8y-cli: https://goc8ycli.netlify.app
