Currently, the Cumulocity UI only offers an option to delete one device at a time which becomes quite tedious if bulk devices needs to be removed.
With bulk device registration option in place, it makes sense to have an option for bulk deletion of the devices as and when required. It would save a lot of time and efforts for the user with this option available.

Bulk deletion is something we have already discussed multiple times internally. The issue is that once devices are deleted, there is no way to bring them back (except you have a backup at hand – but you would still lose data & time). However, with selecting devices manually via checkboxes (but no select all box) and having some kind of double verification, we see only a very limited risk, which is why we agreed that adding checkboxes would be a good solution to reduce the effort when deleting more that 1 device.
