Currently we have only four status for Device Operations - Pending/Executing/Successful/Failed. However it becomes quite tricky with partial failures (or say partial success), which currently displays as 'Failed' similar to the one which is completely Failed. From the outer look, it gives a false vibe that the entire operation is failed unless user delves into the details to understand if it is a complete failure or just partial.
Our suggestion is to have another status to reflect the partial failure/success scenario in addition to the currently available options. It will definitely improve the User experience.

Being able to describe the lifecycle of operations in a more fine granular way is something we already discussed multiple times internally (Not only for LwM2M but in general). This might get picked-up in the context of one of our focus areas for next year but I can’t guarantee on that.
