When creating a device protocol I need to reference a Server.
After some time, this server may be not existing anymore.
Without this server, there is a problem in editing/changing the device protocol.
It would be very easy to reference another (existing) server instead. Now, more or less, I need to delete the device protocol and create a new one (a lot of work).
If the referenced server is missing, I would like to have a list of available servers and to choose one of them as referenced server.

thank you for raising this point! To do this we would need to ensure that the paths of both referenced servers are identical as it would otherwise cause significant issues. We unfortunately can't prioritize on it as of now as introducing such a mechanism for verification would both be quite complex and require significant effort for developing it.
