LwM2M: Change implementation to not count connector as device

Currently (c8y 10.16) LwM2M creates a "LwM2M Connector Device" which is available in the All Devices list and has the c8y_IsDevice fragment.


This fragment is actually a key element for device-count in tenant-statistics, so when LwM2M is added on a tenant, the total count reported by statistics APIs is reporting one more device than the tenant has actually connected.


Expectation would be that the addition of an Agent or protocol is not affecting any of the platform key-metrics in such a way, as this not only affects statistics but may also impact on billing.

    Hi Christoph,

    we are already planning to remove the connector device and move the capabilities it entails to a dedicated LwM2M menu item from which all LwM2M-related configurations/actions can be accessed. Unfortunately, we cannot provide a workaround until this is implemented as the device-tag is required for the connector device to be listed in the All Device list which is currently the only way to make this functionality available to the user.
