Bulk device registration – Support json & xml files

Currently, for LwM2M devices, bulk registration only supports csv files. It would be useful if other file types, in particular json & xml were supported as well. It would also be useful if these files supported the addition of custom device attributes that would end up in the resultant device’s inventory object as well.

    Hi Iain,

    the letter point you are mentioning (addition of custom device attributes) is something that is already supported right now for all bulk registration options (including the one for LwM2M). You just need to add an additional column to the csv. (=> Full registration: https://cumulocity.com/guides/users-guide/device-management/#to-bulk-register-devices). Extending the registration process by adding support for other formats than csv is currently not planned. For which use-case would this be required?
