Case insensitive queries on API

Do queries on managed objects with third party integrated data, which does not always underlie a defined semantic. For instance do a query for all devices having a specific property value of abc or Abc or ABC etc.

    Hi Marco,

    Thank you for raising this request, it has been evaluated and rejected for the following reasons:

    1. Case sensitivity is dependant upon the underlying database.

    2. Switching between case sensitive and case insensitive would mean indices cannot be used - this would give an immediate performance degredation.
