Currently, user is not informed once his password has been changed by admin user.
It is observed that when admin user changes password of another user in the platform, user is not informed about the operation.
Detailed Steps.
1. Navigate to Account > Users on the left side menu.
2. Click on any user except Admin user.
3. Click on change password and enter new password.
4. Confirm the password and Click Save.
In this case if Admin user fails to inform the user, the newly added user will not be aware that his password has been changed.
Expected Result: User notified via email that his password has been changed and asked to contact admin/management tenant for new password.
Hi Ligil,
On reflection we believe the ability to change a user's password should be removed. Instead the administrator can force the user to change their password on the next time they attempt to login.
If the user has forgotten their password they can reset it.
We would be interested to know if this would support your use case.
