Today you have to build the docker container for the microservies framework locally and upload it afterwards. This can be problematic when you have a limited internet connection.
I would be great to just upload the artifacts needed for the build e.g. Dockerfile and source of the app an let the platfrom build the container.
Even better would be to just put in the git repo url an let the plafrom checkout and use that to build the MS.
Cumulocity IoT is focusing on IoT use cases with microservice hosting provided as an additional capability allowing customers to create bespoke capabilities. It is not our intent to expand the capabilities of the microservice hosting.
